The NewlyDRAW software that drives the CheckMate Lasers DT Series has been radically updated.
The software has been vastly improved with alignment features, fine object selection, easy left click engrave, right click vector, layers are well implemented allowing engraving and/or cutting in a single project of multiple types of objects. Each object can easily be assigned different power/speed settings or operation type. The entire interface, operation, use, essentially everything has been greatly modified, enhanced and simplified.
Unfortunately this is not an incremental upgrade, i.e., 1.5 to 1.6, but a complete revamp now at v2.0, hence there is an upgrade fee. If you’ve had problems navigating ND v1.5 or assigning parameters to objects, or any other issues then v2.0 is a highly recommended upgrade. Even if you like v1.5, the operation of the graphics application has literally been changed in a night vs. day comparison. If you know CorelDRAW, you’ll appreciate and quickly learn and implement ND v2.0.
